Meet the
Depies Family
The Depies Family Farm was established in 1882. Steve is the fourth generation and his son, Brandon is the fifth. As of January 1, 2021, the farm is known as Jay Valley Beef, LLC. Together, with their family, they run a beef herd.

Our beef herd consists of primarily angus cattle. Our price per pound is very competitive. Most quarters will be around 200 pounds hanging weight. We have sold beef to our customer base for over 25 years.
The price of processing is a separate fee paid directly to the butcher shop. That fee will depend on the weight and type of cuts you choose, which our very helpful butcher shops will walk you through.
